It’s our Harvest Festival – and Gordon Campbell will be leading us in worship this morning, as well as talking about our involvement with Commitment for Life. This is an annual service we always look forward to very much, and you won’t want to miss it!

This is our chance to share our harvest in the form of money with the projects sponsored by the URC in Zimbabwe, Palestine and Bangladesh. Areas that have suffered badly through drought, floods or war. Our recent shortage of water is a small taste of the problems suffered elsewhere. On the day we will have posters and videos of the stories from these areas. We raised over £3,000 last year and hope to at least match that again.

The easiest way to give is by bank transfer as we can then ensure that Gift Aid is maximised, but we will also have envelopes available.

For Harvest we are asked to bring non-perishable goods which will be donated to FoodShare.
