8 News From Junior Church

It was especially nice to meet friends and relatives of Junior Church members over the summer. All ages met together and had a good time.

We’d also like to thank Alice for running a great holiday club filled with lots of games, stories and crafts which we all enjoyed. This was also a great opportunity to meet people who had never been to Junior Church, and to tell them about it.

During September, we look at Teamwork, when we consider the reasons why it is better to work as a team, and learn that if we listen to God, our team will do well because he is part of it. Next we talk about the fact that God sometimes uses the most unlikely people to carry out his plan, and it is ok to be surprised. Our third session is about Truth Telling, and how God gives us unexpected opportunities to spread the good news. Lastly we discover that nothing can stop God’s plan, and we read about Paul’s journey to his destination to deliver his special message.

A Piano Concert with Ivan Yanakov, Music Director of URC

will be held on Friday, 8 October, 7:30 pm. Tickets £10.

Programme to include works by Chopin and Schumann.
