5 Cobham Presbyterian Church

From the Letting's Co-ordinator

This month I am happy to introduce Cobham Presbyterian Church which meets on our premises on the 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings of the month.  This group was introduced to us a few years' ago by Susan & Freek Verhoef.

Cobham Presbyterian Church

Centred in Cobham, Surrey, we are a congregation belonging to the Free Church of Scotland (FCS), which is Presbyterian in church government and theology.  The Cobham congregation formed about 10 years ago, from a house group covering the south-west London region, belonging to a FCS church in central London (about 70 years old).

With very few Presbyterian churches in England, we gather people from a wide area, which has included Maidenhead.  Due to several of our families living in your area, we have tried to provide an occasional evening service for them, and with the hope that others might be more interested if we are 'on their doorstep', rather than

having to travel to Cobham, or go nowhere to church.

More recently we have converted this into a simple Bible Study, meeting twice a month on Sunday evenings from 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm - using Room 1 at Maidenhead United

Reformed Church.
